What I do

5th year Graduate Student at the University of Michigan, soon to be moving on to a postdoc at the University of Toronto. I’m a biomolecular NMR spectroscopist.

Interests

I’m interested in using NMR spectroscopy to understand the dynamics of large biomolecular systems in a way that no other technique can. NMR provides atomic level resolution of the ongoings of these systems and can even tackle complexes up to 1.1 MDa and beyond. I would like to push the current limitations and develop techniques for studying nucleic acids of similar complexity as the MDa protein complexes.

Projects

Currently developing 13C Relaxation Dispersion experiments for large, uniformly 13C/15N-labeled nucleic acids.
