Suresh Neethirajan's profile

What I do

Currently a Research Engineer at the Biosystems Engineering Department at the University of Manitoba, Suresh has focused his career on advancing agriculture through technology. Over the past 6 years, Suresh have contributed to research and development that consists of design and development of technology and methodology to solve the current quality related problems in the food, grain and agricultural industry. He has written computer algorithms that have been used in solving grain industry problems using machine vision.

Recognizing that nanotechnology (the engineering of functional systems at the molecular scale) has the potential to revolutionize agriculture and food systems, Suresh is currently focusing on developing miniaturized multifunctional sensors and sensor-related components for food quality monitoring. His expertise includes thin film growth and characterization for nano device manufacturing. Suresh Neethirajan is a highly sought-after public speaker in the field of agricultural nanotechnology.
