I am studying the use of data mining to predict post translational modification of proteins, concentrating on glycosylation.

Interests
I am interested in using bioinformatics to learn information about protein structure and function, particularly glycosylation. I also have intrests in machine learning and bioinformatics in general. e.g. Random forest. Coding things in python Java etc.

GPP glycosylation predictor (pretty much done).
Predicting glycan type (early stages).
Some otehr odds and ends to do with secondary structure prediction and amino acid sequence representation. -
