Inka Sastalla's profile
What I do
Currently, I am working as a postdoc fellow at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. I am one of the lucky ones to work in the brand-new building on campus, Bldg 33. My scientific background is bacterial pathogenesis and I did my PhD at the German Research Center for Biotechnology in Braunschweig, Germany (now Helmholtz Center for Infection Research, HZI)on Streptococcus pyogenes. Currently, I am working on Bacillus anthracis here at the Lab of Bacterial Disease.
