My personal interest is in the field of Microbiology and with my educational background I wish to continue my future research work in the same field. However, I have inclination towards the field of Diagnostic Microbiology and Vaccinology. I have knowledge and interest in these two fields with research experience involving recent diagnostic techniques, these includes knowledge of basic microbiological techniques, serology based diagnostic methods including ELISA etc. I am very well acquainted with the recent molecular diagnostic techniques like RNA, genomic and plasmid DNA extraction and PCR based diagnostic techniques and wish to continue work involving these techniques, with the desire to gain more research experience in this field. I also aim to sharpen and enhance my knowledge and skills in gene cloning, expression and in the field of Bioinformatics, along with these I find micro-array and nanotechnology very tempting to work on.
