Interests
I am interested in assessing the potential of new energy conversion technologies with techniques such as Life cycle impact assessments (LCIAs). I think that applying the concept of industrial ecology will provide answers to some of the current problems mankind is facing. In this context, CO2 mitigation and utilization from stationary power sources are one of my interests. Specifically, I conduct both experimental and computational studies of how CO2 can be converted to useful compounds such as carbon monoxide (CO) or methane (CH4).
I also co-author a blog on energy-based topics. In the Spring/Summer seasons, I hike a little bit in the mountains of central PA.
