What I do
Yeast biologist at the Bauer Center (now known as the FAS Center for Systems Biology) at Harvard University. I don’t do systems biology. I work for Kevin Verstrepen, and study satellite DNA, or short DNA sequences that are repeated many times in tandem, in the genomes of eukaryotes. I use S. cerevisiae as a model organism for studying intragenic tandem repeats.
