I am just about to start my 3rd year of Biology BSc at Imperial College London, having successfully completed the first two years, along with a year in industry working for GlaxoSmithKline.

Interests
I am interested in applied molecular biology and drug delivery. I have recently taken a keen interest to novel nanoparticulate drug delivery systems and blood-brain barrier physiology as a result of my 1 year placement in industry, however I also like to stay aware of developments in other areas such as research into telomerase activity and the immune synapse – not really related but interesting all the same!
Outside the lab/lecture theatre I enjoy snowboarding, playing football, playing a variety of different instruments to a reasonably high standard and composing my own music.
