Interests
I study evolution at the molecular level, particularly genomic rearrangements and duplications. My interests range from the molecular mechanisms underlying structural mutations to the population genetics of chromosomal inversions and copy number variants.
-
Projects
I am currently studying duplicated genes in the Drosophila pseudoobscura genome. This project involves using comparative genomics to identify recent duplications, studying sequence divergence between paralogs, and examining copy number and sequence polymorphism of duplicated genes.
