Interests
I haven’t really narrowed down a speciality, but I’m generally interested in the ecology of mammals and birds.
Projects
I’m studying the developmental plasticity of sphingolipids covalently bound to corneocytes in the stratum corneum of house sparrows that have been acclimated to different humidities. I’m also going to study the role that these covalently-bound lipids play in regulating cutaneous water loss at different points in development.
