Currently, I am a graduate student at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. My research project involves using various spectroscopic techniques to understand structure-function relationships in glutamate receptors. I expect to graduate sometime this summer with my Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Interests
I am interested in science writing and publishing. I really enjoy talking to other scientists about their work and then communicating their work to others, both the lay and other scientists. I have always enjoyed learning about new things, and I like being able to explain and express what I have learned to others.
