What I do
I am currently working for the Cochrane Heart Group where I am involved in updating systematic reviews. I am also involved in teaching on the Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology and the Genetic Epidemiology modules for the distance learning MSc in Epidemiology run by the London School of Hygiene. I am also due to begin teaching on the in-house MSc in Epidemiology in both the Non-communicable Disease Epidemiology and Genetic Epidemiolgoy modules as well as a Nutrition Related Chronic Disease module

To date I have worked on the molecular genetics of circulating triglycerides in health, pregnancy and type 2 diabetes in the Peninsula Medical School in Exeter, England.
I spent one year working on the genetics of the Cannabinoid Receptor 1 gene and obesity for the Centre National de Recherche Scientific for the Institute Pastuer de Lille, France
