Projects

I defended my PhD thesis in January 2007 where I worked with large datasets and measured the effect of inspections on the probability of casualty. The thesis was submitted to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a UN specialized agency for discussion at its 15th session of sub-committee meeting on flag state implementation.

I am currently working on building up a dataset of 720,000 observations which will use duration analysis and correspondence analyis to measure the effect of climate changes on the safety quality of a vessel.
