What I do
I work in the Dupree lab, and use plant molecular biology (e.g. transgenics), imaging (e.g. confocal microscopy) and biochemistry (e.g. PACE, HPLC, MS) to identify the genes responsible for plant cell wall biosynthesis. I’m also interested in the underlying function of these polysaccharides, and the effects of modifying their structure and quantity.
