Interests
I’m currently investigating age of puberty and social dominance rank as potential sources of variation in human male mating strategy and as integral features of human life history . My research is driven by an interest in human behaviour, from an evolutionary psychological perspective, concentrating mainly on mating behaviour and attractiveness. I’m interested in the mechanisms by which an individual selects a mating strategy appropriate to their circumstances, so I spend a lot of time thinking about sex hormones.
