What I do
Faculty of Biochemistry in the Post Graduate Department of Botany at Darjeeling Govt College, India.
Research in enzymology, especially isolation and purification of Myo-inositol 1 Phosphate synthase (MIPS) from plants. Currently, I am interested to look for stress tolerant MIPS and subsequently to transfer it into crop plants.
Projects also done on transfer of technology from lab to land whereby agro techniques have been developed for medicinal plants and transfer to the village level for economic development.
