What I do
I’m a Scientist working with Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging in the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre at Imperial College in London.(Imperial College is rated 4th in World for technology and biomedicine by The Times newspaper).I earned my PhD in Bioinformatics and MS in Computing from London Metropolitan University. I obtained my BPharma from Jadavpur University, Calcutta in 1999 (Jadavpur University is rated top 5 Indian university).

Interests
My research is focused on developing methodologies for the quantitative use of multi-modality medical images to examine the dynamic changes in selected functional processes and to investigate the effectiveness of new therapies in vivo (Drug Discovery). I’m also interested in developing computational and statistical models/methods for processing and analysing clinical data (Bioinformatics & Neuroinformatics), Computerised System Validation and Audit including ICH GCP and 21 CFR part 11.
