Karsten K. Panzer Perzan's profile

What I do

My transdisciplinary projects are developing a new grammar of science and the arts, of biology an the esthetics. With a systematical and analogical method I create a connecting and binding language between the binary codes of DNA and the archaic Chinese opus “Yijing” by using a binary colour system (FR 64 PerZan) as mediator and transmitter.

In co-operation with well-known scientists and institutes possible interfaces are detected, the transferability of the information is checked, and reduced to a joint structure or to a joint body of rules.

My “meta-language” describes the interfaces of organic-biological and mental-esthetical information using a broad compatible structure, whose images give a plausible and transparent character to my art-works. They impressively show the interaction of scientific analysis and artistic intuition and therefore strengthens the hope of a universal communication tool for cultures and disciplines.

Interests

the metasystem performs:

-condensation of genetic information by substitution methods,

-measurement of results and suggestions for genetic mutations,

-hypothesis of protein folding, de-novo pattern prognosis by an integrated 3-d colour-reference-space,

-visualisation and possible comparison of protein complexes and protein families,

-complementary statements on semantics and function of proteins,

-a proposal for the verification of
a “neuronal code”,

-an “encyclopaedia” of amino acids
