Mette Handberg-Thorsager's profile
What I do
I am interested in characterizing genes expressed in the stem cells of the flatworm Schmidtea mediterranea. The purpose is to contribute to the understanding of stem cell biology in general, but also to approach a comprehension of the great regeneration ability that this flatworm species possesses.
