Interests
I started building my research group as senior research lecturer in the new European Centre for Ultra-High Field NMR at the Department of Chemistry of Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, (Fr) in April 2007.
I used to be a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow based in London, at the Department of Biomolecular Medicine, Imperial College London, UK.
I have been involved in all aspects of metabonomics data acquisition and analysis since 1998. On the analytical side, I have focussed on promoting multidimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and metastable atom bombardment mass spectrometry (MAB-MS) metabonomic strategies in doping control during my PhD. On the statistical analysis side, I have developed feature selection models, pattern recognition models for epidemiology and insulin resistance research.
My research interests focus on applications of metabonomics to systems biology, chemical biology and genetical genomics.
I have also been involved in several courses on metabonomics, the latest one being the european workshop on Statistical Analysis of Metabonomic and Proteomic Data, March 26-30th 2007, Pavia (Italy).
