Edward Herderick's profile
What I do
I’m a third year PhD student in materials science and engineering at OSU. I’m studying nanoscale properties of oxides using novel nanowire structures. Right now I’m focusing on synthesis of these nanowires; if I can ever get them to grow the way I really want them to then I will measure their properties.

Projects
The goal of my project is to measure piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties of oxides in nanoscale volumes. I will do that using a novel Metal-Oxide-Metal Nanowire structure.
