    • What I do

      I am a medical doctor and I am doing my PhD at the University of Antwerp (Applied Molecular Genomics Group, Department of Molecular Genetics) and the Catholic University of Leuven (Laboratory of Developmental Genetics). I am in the International PhD Program of the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB). I live in Antwerp, Belgium and work in psychiatric genetics and genomics.

      ACADEMIC PROJECTS
      I am founding member of the Colombian Association of Neurosciences and was part of the organizing committee of the first Colombian Meetings of Neurosciences. I participated in the creation of the MSc Program in Neurosciences at the National University of Colombia (one of the first MSc programs in Neurosciences in Latin America).

      I am now part of the organizing committee of the International VIB Ph.D. Student Symposium “VIBes in Biosciences 2008”.
