What I do
Dr. Danyi Wen has extensive experiences in drug R & D. She earned her M.D degree from the Fourth Military Medical University and her M.S. in Biochemistry and Pathology from Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. After three years post-doc training at Dr. Franklin Bunn’s lab at Hema/Onco Dept. in HMS/ BWH, she was appointed as faculty member(instructor in medicine) at Harvard Medical School for two years. In 1996, she joined in Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In her 10 years career at MPI, Dr. Wen had conducted teams to support drug discovery programs. Dr. Danyi Wen enrolled into MBA program at Suffolk Uni. in 2004. After receiving her MBA degree, she joined in Biogen-Idec in August 2006 to support preclinical and clinical drug development projects.
With the fast growth of outsourcing business, Dr. Wen joined Shanghai ChemPartner. Co. Ltd. (2nd largest CRO in China) at the end of 2006. She is leading the Pharmacology/Biomarker department. She is also responsible for external collaboration.
Dr. Wen has been frequently invited as speaker and meeting moderator in a number of international conferences. She is also ad hoc reviewer for peer reviewed scientific journals.
