As Communications Director and in other senior communications positions, I have successfully developed the reputations of organizations as resources to the news media, to policy makers and to the general public within a strategic communications framework. Most recently, at the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI)—an interagency U.S. government research initiative—I directed all communications activities, including news media relations, written and website products, public engagement activities, and the creation of numerous documents.
