Investigating the molecular mechanisms responsible for enforcing cellular senescence, an anti-cancer response, in primary rat schwann cells and human diploid fibroblast cells.

I am interested in cancer and ageing biology and the complex role that senescence plays in both these biological processes.

I am also very interested in patent law, specifically in the filed of life-sciences, and the increasing importance of IP protection in academic and industrial research.
