What I do
I was in Nuclear Astrophysics until the end of my master degree, in which I studied the scattering of 7Be+p. The decay of 8B, produced by the capture of a proton by 7Be, is the key source of the high energy neutrinos measured on Earth.
In my PhD, that I will start in August, I will change to aerospace engineering, in a project to develop electric thrusters for deep space mission satellites, at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. -
