Interests
I am interested in understanding how scientific research and information use impact upon one another, now and in the future. This is key to my role at the British Library in helping inform development of digital resources that meet the needs of the researcher. I am also interested in the different ways that researchers network and collaborate using on-line resources.
My background is post-doctoral training in neurophysiology and cellular signalling, followed by several years in management of research funding and governance at the UK Medical Research Council.
Projects
A range of projects targetting researchers in science, technology and medicine. The main aims are to engage, understand information use & management, identify unmet needs and help develop content, products and services to support them.
