What I do

I work in the Edinburgh Breast Research Group. I am involved in transcriptional analysis of changes in clinical breast cancer biopsies caused by treatment with aromatase inhibitors. My lab duties include tissue processing, RNA extraction, reverse transcription and quantitative PCR. As well I am involved in PCR and micro-array data analysis.

Interests

Currently I am most interested in real-time PCR and micro-array data analysis.
Some years ago I used to study extra-gonadal sources of estrogens in circulation and in breast cancer tissue.
