    • What I do

I’m working at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in the Institute of Material Physics for Space (Cologne). I did my doctoral studies in the group of PD. Dr. Thomas Kraska at the Institute for Physical Chemistry at the University of Cologne (Germany).

    • Interests

My work focuses on the simulation of phase transitions and transport in disordered systems. In particular im currently investigating by simulations the dynamics of solidification and melting in metals, the liquid-vapor spinodal and the chromatic percolation transitions in evolving pore networks.
