Interests
They are primarily biology although certain aspects of chemistry, geology and astronomy fascinate me.
Projects
1. Looking to find out whether the genes that control X-inactivation can be used to ameliorate Down syndrome by inactivating one of the extra chromosomes in each cell.
2. Looking to find the evolutionary mechanisms which underly the selection of one gamete over the other during oogenesis. Becoming a polar body is an evolutionary dead end.
