Projects

Bionexa is a web based Scientific Collaboration Network that through education and active communications with its members aims to promote knowledge and technology transfer between Spanish speaking researchers and the investigators and companies of scientific base that exist in in their home countries.Bionexa started from a passionate discussion with Cristian Hernandez-Cuevas in a pub in Cambridge.
We realised there was a need to re-establish contact with the scientific developments that were taking place in Latin America, and motivated by the strong idea of contributing something back to where we came from we decided to develop a way to help spanish speaking researchers connect with each other. All this in order to promote the scientific development in Latin America through the development of a Virtual Platform of Scientific Collaboration. We currently have over 450 members and are working alongside Nature Network to increase the number of Latin American scientists present in NN.
