What I do
I facilitate translational research efforts at King’s College London across several disciplines, in particular the Neurosciences. This involves knowlegde brokering and fostering research partnerships, providing feedback on grant applications, conducting individualized database searches for academics to find the most appropriate funding streams, giving applicants input into research directions and strategy, building liaisons with technology transfer departments and pharma/biotech, portofolio management of existing grants, and scientifc support to local funding bodies (e.g. Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Charity and NIHR Biomedical Research Centers at KCL).
