What I do

I am currently a postdoctural researcher at Durham University, UK, and use a comparative approach within the field of Evolutionary Psychology to investigate the underlying mechanisms of social learning in both chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) and children.

Having conducted my PhD at the University of St Andrews, UK, under the supervision of Professor Andrew Whiten I am affiliated with The Centre for Social Learning and Cognitive Evolution and the Scottish Primate Research Group

Footage of my research can be seen at the NOVA ‘Ape Genius’ website
