Jishy Varghese's profile
I'm male and 33
What I do
I took my Ph.D degree from the National Center for Biological Sciences, Bangalore, India in the field of Apoptosis-Programmed Cell death. Since then I am working on understanding development of organisms and regulation of gene networks.

Interests
I am interested in post-transcriptional gene regulation by microRNAs during organismal development. I am also interested in studying human disease related genes using Drosophila melanogaster (fruit fly) as a model organism.
