      I manage Journal of the Royal Society Interface, the Society’s cross-disciplinary publication. Launched in 2004, it promotes research at the interface of the life and physical sciences by applying chemistry, engineering, materials science, mathematics and physics to the biological and medical sciences; it also highlights discoveries in the life sciences that allow advances in the physical sciences. Both sides of the interface are considered equally. Accepted articles are published immediately online and the hard copy version of the journal appears every two months. J. R. Soc. Interface welcomes articles on a diverse range of topics including, but not limited to

      biocomplexity bioengineering bioinformatics biomaterials biomechanics bionanoscience biophysics chemical biology computer science (as applied to the life sciences) medical physics synthetic biology systems biology theoretical biology tissue engineering
