What I do
I am a microbiologist with experience in working with bacteria, protozoa and fungi, using both classical and modern approaches. My main interests are in microbial ecology and interactions and in the public health issues surrounding beneficial reuse of waste. I recieved my PhD from the University of Kent in 2003 and have a wide range of experience in a variety of microbiological techniques, including molecular methods and enumeration of enteric pathogens in wastewater and related products.
