What I do
I am a biological sciences editor for Nature. I’ve been here since Sept 2003; before that, I was an editor at Nature Cell Biology and then Cell. My primary area of interest is DNA & RNA metabolism, although at Nature I have also handled protein folding, vascular physiology, & theoretical/systems/computational biology papers.
I am also one of the four biology team leaders; my team of four editors handle genetics & genomics; signalling, chromatin, transcription & cell cycle; cancer & angiogenesis; and biochemistry, enzymology, chemistry & biophysics.
