      Alterations in nutrient availability at critical developmental time windows during gestation may reprogram the conceptus leading to alterations in development and function of vital organs resulting in metabolic syndrome in adulthood.
      Therefore, I am researching how alterations in nutrient availability effect methylation, (imprinted) gene expression, structure and development of the mouse placenta and how they lead to fetal reprogramming in the womb
