My lab studies glucose/cAMP signaling in the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe. We are also developing a cell-based platform with our S. pombe strains to carry out high thoughput drug screens for chemical activators and inhibitors of cAMP phosphodiesterases, as well as cDNA library screen for biological regulators of these enzymes.
