I am an associate editor at Nature Protocols, an interactive online journal that publishes all kinds of protocols relevant to research scientists. Each of our protocols has a commenting facility to enable users to add their opinions; this effectively allows our content to be continually peer-reviewed and updated.

My Research Background
Before joining the Nature Protocols team in January 2006, I worked as a bench scientist for quite a few years. My main interest is developmental genetics and I spent my years as a researcher investigating various aspects of fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster) development.
