Interests
I’m interested in the psychological factors which affect the academic performance of medical students and doctors from different ethnic groups. I am particularly interested in how people’s perceptions of themselves and others affect their performance.
I also have an interest in techniques for combatting presentation anxiety.
Projects
My PhD I’m looking at the effects of ethnic group and sex on performance in medical school assessments.
Related to this, I work for the GMC, looking at doctors whose performance is called into question.
