What I do
I am a member of the editorial team of Nature Immunology. We read and evaluate manuscripts submitted to the journal and oversee the peer-review process of those manuscripts selected for external review. We are also authors ourselves – have a look at the editorials and research highlights published in our journal!
I have a Ph.D. in microbiology from New York University (I earned my bachelor of science at the University of Michigan, also majoring in microbiology). I’m an avid gardener and I have two very spoiled (ie fat) cats.

I enjoy traveling the world to meet with other scientists to talk about science and talk about ‘communicating science’.

Projects
For those of you in the San Diego California area, I’ll be attending the annual meeting of the American Association of Immunologists, April 5-9, 2008. Look for me at the NPG booth or at the workshop “Navigating Biomedical Careers” on April 7th at 10:15 AM.
