I am a PhD student in the Virology program at Harvard Medical School. My dissertation research focuses on investigating the targets of neutralizing antibodies on the envelope protein, gp120, of simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV). Specifically, we are examining the role of the variable loops to act as targets and elicitors of the humoral immune response upon SIV infection in rhesus macaques.
