What I do
I help software engineers make software that helps biologists build electronic field guides, help other biologists make EFGs, and sometimes make my own EFGs as well.
I maintain the Invasive Species Weblog.
I run the Life on the Purple loosestrife and Life on the Japanese knotweed citizen science photography projects.
In my spare time, I teach, do invasive species-related contract work, and occasionally sleep.
I am actively seeking employment as of August 2007.
