What I do
I am working on DNA repair with an approach to develop therapeutic strategies. Methyl binding domain protein (MBD4) and Thymine DNA glycosylase (TDG) are the primary molecules that I am focusing on. Recently I got involved in a cohort study comprising of nine groups all over the US under the banner of “Integrative Cancer Biology Program’—A NCI initiative. This approach reflects the confluence of different streams like Classical biology, Computational biology, mathematics and systems sciences with a combined aim of resolving cancer related problems
