Interests
My main interests lie in parasitology and medical entomology. My previous research investigated the changes in host odour profiles of golden hamsters infected with Leishmania infantum and the attractiveness of these changes to the sand fly vector.
I also have an interest in attempting to reduce the number of hamsters required to maintain a sand fly colony; either by maximising the efficiency of the colony or introducing other blood-feeding methods such as membrane feeding.
