Business: electronic journals and databases, global licensing and pricing models, user rights, IP, DRM, etc. Member of the PDR (Pharma-Documentation-Ring) Copyright Taskforce and the ABPI (Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry) Copyright Taskforce.
Prior to GSK I worked for 12 years in publishing, (within sales management) for Springer, Wiley and Thomson Scientific.
Non-business: travelling, reading, astronomy, tennis, good food and wine, and of course, my wife and two children!
Projects
Negotiating with the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA), together with other representatives from the ABPI, re the CLA’s proposed born digital license.
