- What I do
  
  I am a postdoc research psychologist specialising in neurodegenerative movement disorders, particularly motor neurone disease (MND) and Parkinson’s disease. I do a bit of neuropsychology (what bits of the brain do different things), as well as mood & emotion (does brain disease make you depressed or does it just look that way?).
  
  I also have moved from having fingers in several pies to wallowing, pig-like, in a warehouse full of pies to do with PhD training, transferable skills, websites, magazines, recruitment of volunteers for research, and public engagement.
