I am working on molecular simulations/modeling and biochemistry/biophsical characterization of protein secretion in E. Coli. Apart from protein targeting and translocation, I am also interested in small molecule transport across various membrane channels. My ultimate research goal is to understand some of the molecular (macromolecules/small molecules) transport systems in cell and build engineering devices from them.
