Interests
I am interested in how science can be better communicated through the media without severe dumbing down or the introduction of inaccuracies.
I am interested in getting more biology and zoology students in contact with museum objects to learn the fundamentals of a subject which to many appears ‘old fashioned’
I am also interested in using virtual technologies in museums specifically how many videogames are performing the roles of communicating and educating about natural history to millions of young, creative, paying and interested people and how many museum professionals may be ignorant of the progress with videogames and how the game players may not know that they are learning useful skills and knowledge that is very relevant to the real world.
